Terms of use

Effective November 8, 2026

Pobilo is an early-access AI tutor that teaches from your own course notes. These terms explain who can use it, what you can expect from it, and what we expect from you.

Agreeing to these terms

Pobilo is run by Saygin Saman, an individual based in the United States (“Pobilo”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Pobilo, you agree to these terms and to how we handle data as described in the Privacy notice. If you don't agree, please don't use Pobilo.

Who can use Pobilo

You must be 18 or older. Each account is for one person: don't share your account or use someone else's.

Your account

You sign in with a code sent to your email or with Google. Keep access to that email or Google account secure, because anyone who can sign in to it can sign in to Pobilo as you. Tell us at saygindoruksaman@gmail.com if you think someone else has used your account.

What Pobilo is, and what it isn't

Your content

You keep all rights to the notes and files you upload and to your answers. You give us permission to store, copy, process, and transmit them (including to the service providers listed in the Privacy notice) only to run Pobilo for you and keep it secure. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies in backups until those are deleted.

Only upload content you have the right to use for your own study, such as your own notes and materials your course gives you. Don't upload anything illegal, or other people's personal information beyond what normal course materials contain. You may use the lessons Pobilo makes for you for your own study.

Things you must not do

Pobilo's own content

The Pobilo software, design, name, and logo belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use Pobilo under these terms. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Paid plans

Pobilo has no paid plans today. If we add them, we will show the price and billing terms before you buy anything, and payments will be handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.

Ending your use

You can stop using Pobilo and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or when needed to protect other users or the service; when we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to download your data.

No warranty

Pobilo is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, grades, or opportunities, arising from your use of Pobilo. Our total liability for any claim about Pobilo is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Copyright complaints

If you believe content on Pobilo infringes your copyright, email saygindoruksaman@gmail.com with the work, where it appears, and your contact details, and we will look into it promptly.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for changes that matter we will tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Pobilo after that, the new terms apply.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Pobilo's operator lives, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you have a problem with Pobilo, please email saygindoruksaman@gmail.com first; we will try to resolve it with you informally within 30 days.
